A NOCC Member Organization can be a civic, community, cultural, or other group who wishes to join with other similar community groups in North Olmsted.  The goal is to foster communication and to form partnerships. See our About page for more information.

Applications from potential Member Organizations must be approved.

Individual Associate Member

$10 per year

Many times people wish to join NOCC on their own, such as a civic-minded person who wishes to contribute to the work NOCC  does.  You don't have to be part of a Member Organization to join us.

On the other hand, if you are associated with one of our Member Organizations, but are joining on your own, you will be able to indicate your association on the application screen.

In any case, we want you!

Individual Associate members have voting rights at NOCC meetings, and login rights to the member portion of this website.

Affiliate Member

Affiliate Members are just like Individual Members, except they do not have NOCC voting rights.  Affiliates also do not pay dues.

While we welcome Affiliate members, we encourage you to consider joining at the Individual level if you can. The small dues amount will contribute to our work, such as scholarships, public improvements to city parks, and other civic contributions.

If you are only looking to learn about our activities, receive our emails, and otherwise stay in touch, you don't have to apply as an Affiliate.  You can simply join our mailing list instead.

Why should you become a member?

A Letter From our Past President,
Jim Lentz

On behalf of the North Olmsted Community Council (NOCC), I would like to invite you to join our organization as we work through our many members to make North Olmsted a better place to live.

The primary purpose of the NOCC is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas between North Olmsted civic organizations and citizens, We like to assist our members to form partnerships to work together to create what individually they might not.

NOCC also promotes its own community-wide activities, such as the annual Citizen of the Year award in April, scholarship awards to deserving North Olmsted students in May and the Homecoming Festival in August. NOCC is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nonsectarian and noncommercial organization, that neither endorses nor opposes any political candidate or ballot issue. NOCC is independent, and is not operated by the City or School Board. NOCC activities are organized by inspired volunteers and citizen representatives from local civic organizations, just like you!

Membership is easy, with meetings held at the Community Cabin on the last Tuesday of every other month commencing with January. We conclude the year with our President’s Dinner in November when we install our officers for the coming year. The cost for each individual is just $10.00 per year or organization is just $20.00 per year.

Come and join other philanthropic and non-profit North Olmsted organizations as we combine our forces to support our great city. I invite you to visit one of our meetings or call me, with any questions,

James Lentz, Past President
North Olmsted Community Council
